Feasibility study
Every shore power project starts with an analysis to work out a conceptual solution for power connectivity and delivery as well as the process of budgeting capital to evaluate investment (CAPEX) into a shore power solution and operational cost (OPEX).
The study identifies what the requirements are to provide an effective shore power solution to the port as well as vessels. Additionally, it provides information about the grid capability and most efficient technical solutions. The efficiency measures will also take into account economic benefits for all parties.

FEASIBILITY STUDY FRAMEWORK
- Collecting and mapping of information
- Energy consumption measurements
- Conceptual technical solutions for different scenarios (including equipment specifications, layouts, single line diagrams)
- Simulations for different scenarios
- Calculating and analysing investment and operational costs
- Composing incremental analysis (ROI, NPV, IRR, payback)
- Consultation on potential funding options
The Shore-Link Mobile Shore Power System
The Shore-Link Mobile Shore Power System is a compact containerized solution for ships for use when no cable management system is available in the port, but shore connection itself is available. Its modular design can be adjusted according to specific requirements (single- or multi-cabling with length up to 100 meters, LV or MV, different plug types, etc.). Mobile Shore Power Systems are resistant to harsh environments and fully meet the latest relevant standards (IEC 80005-1, IEC 800005-2).
The complete system is accommodated in a 10- to 40-foot container and includes cable reel(s), shore connection panel(s) and all other equipment needed for shore connection.
The Shore-Link Shore Power cable reel
The Shore-Link Shore Power cable reel is a compact solution mounted on the vessel. Its modular design can be adjusted according to specific requirements (single- or multi-cabling, LV or MV, different plug types, etc.). Shore Power cable reel systems are resistant to harsh environments and fully meet the latest relevant standards (IEC 80005-1, IEC 800005-2).
The complete system includes cable reel(s), cable with a length of up to 100 meters, shore connection panel(s) and all other equipment needed for shore connection.
